You’ll be given a warm welcome by our friendly and knowledgeable staff and soon be chatting and making friends with new people on the communal tables. Our regular beer-themed events bring together local residents with beer fans from around the city and beyond to share some of the best and rarest beer together. We have our very own Butcher’s Brew Club that meets once a month to share knowledge and advice on home brewing. They have also been involved in several collaboration brews with some fantastic local breweries including Vibrant Forest, Dancing Man, Steam Town & Unity.
With up to 4 cask beers and six keg lines of craft beer and real ales, we also have a fully stocked fridge with a killer list of cans and bottles from the world's best craft breweries. We serve a range of cider, wine & soft drinks as well as seasonally changing gin & tonics.
You’ll find us in a beautifully converted Victorian butcher's shop, in the suburb of Bitterne Park near to St Denys & Bitterne Stations.
We can provide a pop up bar for your wedding or event and also offer private hire of the pub for special occasions.
